BACHELOR & MASTERS
Why and how?
Being actively involved in personal development helps students enter the job market with more confidence and self-awareness. Students learn to perceive themselves and their surroundings differently, subsequently discovering the type of work (roles), the type of organization, and the corporate culture that suits them.
During the bachelor's phase, students are introduced to the Communication Style and Character Profile questionnaires. The results provide insights into preferred communication styles. Additionally, students gain an understanding of character traits, including their sources of energy, strengths, weaknesses, and a translation of these insights into study and career choices is provided.
The program has given the students the space to dare to be themselves, instead of being stuck in a perception of what they should be.

The iPortfolio program by iScreen offers new insights into both each other's and our own character, motivation, communication style, and associated pitfalls. This enables us to collaborate more effectively within our challenging project.

Endless possibilities
The possibilities for utilizing the questionnaires for students are limitless.
For instance, our program is also offered to the Dreamhall teams at TU Delft. During the current academic year, teams Hyperloop and Hydro Motion have embarked on personal and team development journeys to excel not only as teams but also on a personal level, aiming to play in the Champions League.
The personal and team insights help foster a positive well-being during a year where both personal and team performances are delivered at the highest level.
In short, the components in our program are
Communication style
The Communication Style questionnaire reveals how someone prefers to communicate. It measures two dimensions: How someone positions themselves in a conversation (guidance) and what someone prefers to talk about (content). Combining these two dimensions leads to four communication styles that exist within a person, to varying degrees. This insight can help in becoming more effective in communication.
Character profile
The Character Profile questionnaire maps out driving forces: what are someone's values, needs, and preferences? The profile reveals, across 8 different driving forces, what energizes someone and what drains their energy. There is no 'right' or 'wrong'; it's about individual preferences.
360 degree feedback
A 360 degree feedback round consists of open-ended questions focused on the strengths and areas for development of the feedback recipient. Both recipients and providers of feedback answer these questions—the recipient about themselves and the providers about the recipient. The results from both givers and recipients of feedback are compiled into a single overview, allowing for immediate visibility of similarities and differences.
